It's still a great festival with a great atmosphere. The smaller bands in Congo were incredibly cool and actually worth a larger venue (although the atmosphere here was much more fun than in the big venues like Maas and Nile, where acoustics sometimes play tricks). Partly because of this, Jamie Cullum's performance was less catchy and Macy Gray was so high that the song “get up, get high and do something” unintentionally turned out to be biographical. She literally did nothing and half got away with it because of the amazing background singer. A shame of probably an expensive artist. Het blijft een geweldig festival met een goede sfeer. De kleinere bands op Congo waren ontzettend gaaf en eigenlijk een grotere zaal waard (al was de sfeer hier wel stukken leuker dan in de grote zalen als Maas en Nile waar de akoestiek soms parten speelt. Optreden van Jamie Cullum was mede daardoor minder pakkend en Macy Gray was zo high dat het nummer “get up, get high en do something” onbedoeld biografisch uitpakte. Ze deed letterlijk maar wat en kwam er door de geweldige achtergrond zangeres half mee weg. Zonde van waarschijnlijk een dure artiest.
