Impressive show. Powerful and with beautiful decors. Live music was sometimes a bit loud and not all lyrics were audible. But despite that, I was completely carried away to earlier times. spending an afternoon in Carre is not a punishment anyway, but also attending les Miserables with beautiful scenery and lighting, but above all, fantastic artists completed the party for us. een middag vertoeven in Carre is sowieso geen straf maar dan ook nog eens les Miserables bijwonen met een prachtig decor en belichting maar boven al fantastische artiesten maakte voor ons het feest compleet.

After enjoying the book, the musical was a bit disappointing. A bit caricatural, too much climax and too little line in the story. It's that I know the story, but my adult children had a lot of questions about what about all those characters. They go to spicy music events but found it too noisy. Me, too. My daughter-in-law even became overstimulated and left midway through the second half. It was too tiring. Before, the amplification could have been much softer. I had also liked spoken parts between the music. Slightly more difference in tonal strength. Sometimes just a moment of silence. A storyteller who explains the storyline a bit and places the story in time. This was really too much of an equal intensity. This was a bit over the top. Na genoten te hebben van het boek, viel de musical toch een beetje tegen. Een beetje karikaturaal, teveel climax en te weinig lijn in het verhaal. Het is dat ik het verhaal ken, maar mijn volwassen kinderen hadden heel wat vragen over hoe dat nou zat met al die personages. Zij gaan naar pittige muziek evenementen maar vonden dit te lawaaiig. Ik ook. Mijn schoondochter raakte zelfs overprikkeld en is halverwege de tweede helft weggegaan. Het was te vermoeiend. Voor had de versterking veel zachter gemogen. Ik had ook gesproken delen tussen de muziek door mooi gevonden. Iets meer verschil in toonsterkte. Soms even een stilte. Een verteller die de verhaallijn een beetje uitlegt en het verhaal in de tijd plaatst. Dit was echt teveel van een gelijke heftigheid. Dit was een beetje over de top.
