The point of reference is, of course, the old musical, but this is quite different: different setting, different purpose, more impressive and yet stuck to the biblical story. Very credible role by Jeangu Macrooy. Nowhere bombastic or loud American. Het referentiepunt is uiteraard de oude musical, maar dit is heel anders: andere setting, andere bedoeling, indrukwekkender en toch bij het Bijbelse verhaal gebleven. Zeer geloofwaardige rol van Jeangu Macrooy. Nergens bombastisch of schreeuwerig amerikaans.

Unfortunately, it wasn't so fun (singing along together) and overwhelming (too much music and lyrics coming in... too fast, rumbling, little emotion). Maria sang very well. Prefer some experienced and emotion-filled artists. Nice, active and young club. Not what I need to fully live through this. But I'm spoiled for the old performances with that famous Jesus. Helaas, het was niet zo gezellig (samen meenzingen) en overweldigend (dat te muziek en tekst binnenkwam...te snel, afraffelen, weinig emotie). Maria zong erg goed. Liever wat doorleefde en vol emotie acterende artiesten. Wel leuke, actieve en jong club. Niet wat ik nodig heb om dit totaal te doorleven. Maar ik ben verwend met de oude optredens met die beroemde Jezus.

Little info about the implementation and too expensive. Weinig info over de uitvoering en te duur.

Too expensive for what was offered. I'm just going to go to small theaters again. That's where I know where I stand. Closer, better experience. Te duur voor wat geboden werd. Ik ga maar weer naar kleine theaters. Daar weet ik waar ik aan toe ben. Dichtbij, betere beleving.
