Gerard Mosterd has achieved something extraordinary with this production. With the national opera from Odessa, you know you have quality, but I really found the addition of the ballet a novelty. The dancers beautifully showed the diverse emotions that Carl Orff intended to express. This impressive composition got a very special addition that I really enjoyed. This carmina burana is definitely worth a visit!! Gerard Mosterd heeft met deze productie wat bijzonders gerealiseerd. Met de nationale opera uit Odessa weet je dat je kwaliteit in huis hebt maar de toevoeging van het ballet vond ik echt een noviteit de dansers lieten op prachtige wijze de diverse emoties zien die Carl Orff bedoeld heeft uit te drukken. deze imposante compositie kreeg op deze manier een toch wel heel bijzondere toevoeging waar ik erg van genoten heb. deze carmina burana is absoluut een bezoek waard!!

The hall (Rabozaal) was cozy, cozy,. The performance was actually very below expectations. The choir loud and often shrill, the dancers very uneven, and sloppy. The soloists: the one male (in dark costume) regularly sang... out of tune. the other (in light costume) sang -... occasionally... a bit cleanly. the female soloist, was considerably better. The show was also short, very short, and therefore luckily (or unfortunately) there was no break, otherwise we would not have returned to the auditor. this was definitely not worth waiting for almost 3 years. De zaal (Rabozaal) was knus, gezellig,. Het optreden was eigenlijk zeer beneden verwachting. Het koor hard en vaak schel, de dansers zeer ongelijk, en slordig. De solisten: de ene mannelijke (in donker kostuum) zong regelmatig...out of tune. de andere (in licht kostuum) zong -... af en toe.... eeen beetje zuiver. de vrouwelijke solist, was aanzienlijk beter. De show was ook kort , erg kort, en daardoor gelukkig (of helaas) was er geen pauze, anders waren we nioet in de zaal teruggekeerd. dit was bijna 3 jaar wachten absoluut niet waard.
