Beth Hart came singing solo from the audience: vulnerable, daring and passionate. She was clearly into it and switched effortlessly between personal, sensitive ballads and heavy blues rockers. The program worked nicely to a climax. The fact that “I leave the light on” was announced and subsequently not released did nothing to change that. At most, this could have been the absolute icing on the cake. Beth Hart kwam op sol zingend vanuit het publiek: kwetsbaar, gedurfd en met passie. Ze had er overduidelijk zin in en schakelde moeiteloos tussen persoonlijk getinte, gevoelige ballads en stevige bluesrockers. Het programma werkte mooi naar een climax. Dat "I leave the light on" wel werd aangekondigd en vervolgens toch niet gebracht werd, deed daaraan niets af. Hooguit had dit de absolute kers op de taart kunnen zijn.
